Together for each other
Saving lives in Zanzibar
We help stray dogs in Zanzibar with food, medical care and safe places to rest.
How we help
Tajana and the TAJDO team care for stray dogs in Zanzibar. Our work has three priorities:
Food and shelter
We maintain food and water stations and build shelters that protect dogs from sun and rain.
Medical care
With local vets, we treat injuries and illnesses and organise vaccinations and neutering.
Education
We work with local communities to encourage a kind, responsible relationship with dogs.
